Banana Doughnut Holes

Makes appropriately 2 dozen doughnut holes


Ingredients:
1 banana
2 cups of all purpose flower
2 cups of plain yogurt
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tsp of cinnamon powder (optional)

Directions:
  1. Mash the 1 banana in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, add 2 cups of all purpose flower, 2 cups of plain yogurt, 1 tsp of baking soda and mix.
  3. Slowly add in the 1/2 cup of milk into the all purpose flower mixture and mix until combined.
  4. Add in the mashed banana into the mixture and mix until it reaches a dough-like consistency.
  5. Heat up oil in a frying pan and oil should reach approximately 320 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Oil a spoon and and spoon the dough making around 1 inch in diameter balls. Careful not to touch the dough, it can be very sticky. Just scoop and pour right into the pan. Try to form a circular or oval shape.
  7. Fry the doughnuts until golden brown and remove to place them onto a plate with with a paper towel covering it so the excess oil is soaked up.
  8. Let it cool down for 25 minutes.
  9. In a separate bowl, add the 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 tsp of cinnamon powder and mix until combined.
  10. Add in the doughnuts one at a time to coat the entire outer layer with the sugar and cinnamon mixture and place onto another plate.
  11. Enjoy!
